Our Sites (jobs24.co.uk, nw1jobs.com, y1jobs.com, ne1jobs.com, se1jobs.com, sw1jobs.com, wm1jobs.com, w1jobs.com, em1jobs.com, ea1jobs.com, ox1jobs.com and s1jobs.com) provide a service free of charge to you in exchange for your performance of your obligations under the following terms and conditions (鈥淭erms鈥�). The listed Sites are a trading name of 九州影院 Limited, with registered company number 1676637 and office address at The Echo Building, 18 Albert Road, Bournemouth, England, BH1 1BZ.

Your use of the Services is conditional upon your acceptance of these Terms, which include the Privacy Notice (www.newsquest.co.uk/privacy-policy-jobwebsites). Please read these Terms carefully before you use the Site.

1.听听听 Definitions:

1.1.听听听听听听听 鈥淎greement鈥�: this agreement between us and you, incorporating these Terms.

1.2听听听听听听听听 鈥淎dvertisement鈥�: any job listing, banner, button, mini-banner, micro-site, pop-up, display ad, sponsorship, or any other advertising format that we may publish on the Site from time to time.

1.3听听听听听听听听 鈥淐V Database鈥�: a database of Job Seekers鈥� CVs with a search engine enabling Clients to search 听听听听听听听听听听听 the CV Database.

1.4听听听听听听听听 鈥淐lient鈥�: an employer or employment agency who enters into an agreement with us to use the Services.

1.5听听听听听听听听 鈥淐V鈥�: Curriculum Vitae, document highlighting your professional and academic history uploaded by a Candidate on the Site.

1.6听听听听听听听听 鈥淒ata Law鈥�: the UK General Data Protection Regulation; the Data Protection Act 2018; and the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003.

1.7听听听听听听听听 鈥淚ntellectual Property Rights鈥� include copyright, database rights, trademarks (registered or unregistered) and rights in passing off, domain names and other intellectual property rights.

1.8听听听听听听听听 鈥淛ob Seeker鈥�: an individual who enters into this Agreement with us to use the Site and the Services.

1.9 听听听听听听听 鈥溇胖萦霸衡��: us and each of our holding companies and each subsidiary of ours or our holding companies from time to time (both 鈥渃ompany 鈥渁nd 鈥渟ubsidiary鈥� as defined in the Companies Act 2006).

1.10听听听听听听 "Services":听 the online recruitment services on our Site, including job or career-related Advertisements, promotions and career information, access to the Site, and the CV Database.

1.11听听听听听听 "Site": the job websites: nw1jobs.com, y1jobs.com, ne1jobs.com, se1jobs.com, sw1jobs.com, wm1jobs.com, w1jobs.com, em1jobs.com, ea1jobs.com, ox1jobs.com, s1jobs.com, including their software platform, functions and all content displayed.

1.14听听听听听听 鈥淵ou/your鈥�: a Job Seeker or any other persons browsing or using this Site.

1.15听听听听听听 Any words following the terms 鈥榠ncluding鈥�, 鈥榠nclude鈥�, 鈥榠n particular鈥�, 鈥榝or example鈥� or any similar 听听听听听听听听 expression shall be construed as illustrative and shall not limit the sense of the words, 听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听听 description phrase or term preceding those terms.

1.16听听听听听听 Unless the context otherwise requires, words in the singular shall include the plural and in the 听听听听听听听听听 plural shall include the singular.

2.听 What we do

This Site is intended to connect you, the Job Seeker, with our Clients, employers or employment agencies seeking to recruit new employees.听 With this Site we can also provide you with career information. As a Job Seeker, you can create a profile and upload CV鈥檚 to your account via the Site user login. In the CV database, your uploaded details will be available to employers or employment agencies, so they can assess your fit for their employment opportunities. Furthermore, you can manage the content and documents required for applications via the Site, as well as search for job advertisements, set up job alerts and manage applications.

The Sites, including job postings, CV Database and other features, may be used only by individuals seeking employment and/or career information and by employers seeking employees.

We and our Clients will have access to data in the CVs uploaded by you. We will use it for the purpose of providing the Services and our Clients may use such information to assist you in finding employment with them or their own clients. This will include processing and storing that information and sharing or making it available to other parties for the services described

We give no guarantee that you will be offered a job. The decision to recruit a candidate solely lies with the employer.听 You should check regularly that your CV and other details are accurate and up-to-date so recruiters can determine whether or not you are a suitable candidate.

We may use third party sub-contractors to help us process your information as part of the recruitment process. To find out more about this read our Privacy Notice (www.newsquest.co.uk/privacy-policy-jobwebsites).

We may collect and aggregate anonymised data from the information supplied by you and your use of the Site to help us to understand our Site users as a group so that we can provide you with a better service.

Where you have provided requested contact details, you agree that we or any of our Clients may contact you by telephone, email, SMS/text message, Whatsapp, post or any other appropriate form of communication in connection with the delivery and administration of the Services.听 You may remove this consent at any time by closing your account.

3. Data Protection

We and our sub-contractors will use and process your personal information as necessary for the performance of this Agreement between us and in accordance with Data Law.听 Our use of your CV and other personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy (www.newsquest.co.uk/privacy-policy-jobwebsites).

Our Clients from the UK and around the world can access and use our CV Database. You acknowledge and agree that your CV and personal data may be accessed outside the UK and Economic European Area.

4. Your use of the Site

You are solely responsible for the information you submit to the Site.听 You will ensure that it is:

鈥⑻�听听听听听听听听听听听 true, accurate, up-to-date and not misleading;

鈥⑻�听听听听听听听听听听听 not offensive to the mind of a reasonable person;

鈥⑻�听听听听听听听听听听听 not defamatory or in contempt of court;

鈥⑻�听听听听听听听听听听听 not in breach of any third party鈥檚 rights of privacy, confidentiality or data protection;

鈥⑻�听听听听听听听听听听听 not in breach of any third party鈥檚 copyright or other intellectual property right.

鈥⑻�听听听听听听听听听听听 not otherwise in breach of any applicable legislation, regulations, relevant guidelines or codes of practice; and

鈥⑻�听听听听听听听听听听听 free from malware that may damage or interfere with any system or data.

Where you are in breach of your obligations above or otherwise as we may reasonably consider necessary in connection with the delivery or administration of the Services, we reserve the right at any time to remove from the Site any information supplied by you, without being required to give any explanation.

You may use this Site for lawful purposes only when seeking employment or other help with your career. You must not do anything to:

We do not warrant or guarantee a minimum volume of storage capacity for your CV and other personal information. We reserve the right to temporarily or permanently restrict the data volume for uploads of data, especially if necessary due to technical reasons, in particular to maintain the quality of the Services.

You are responsible for making all arrangements necessary for you to have access to our Site. You are also responsible for ensuring that all persons who access our Site through your internet connection are aware of these Terms.

5. Security and passwords

You may be given a password to register and access the Services. We shall not be liable for your unauthorised or improper use or disclosure of your password. You are solely responsible for keeping it secure and confidential.听 You must tell us immediately if you believe that your password becomes known to someone else or if there is a risk it may be used in an unauthorised way.

6. Services availability

We will try to ensure that the Site and the Services are continuously available, but we will not be liable if for any reason our Site is unavailable at any time or for any period. We may vary the specification of this site from time to time without notice. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend the Site or any of the Services we provide without notice (and on any such withdrawal of Services, we will promptly delete your information as set out in clause 10 below).

Most of the information on this Site, particularly Advertisements and other information about job opportunities, is supplied by third parties and we are not able to check its accuracy. We shall not be liable for any inaccuracy or omission in any of the information on this Site or in respect of information on this Site supplied by you, a Client or any other person.

Whilst using this Site you may be offered products or services in advertisements and automatic links to other sites. We are not responsible or liable for your use of such links, products or services.听 We recommend that you review the privacy practices of these providers before sharing your data.

9. Liability

The Site is provided on an 鈥渁s is鈥� and 鈥渁s available鈥� basis, without (to the full extent permitted by law) any guarantees, conditions or warranties as to its content. No advice or information, whether oral or written, obtained from us by you shall create any warranty that is not expressly made in this Agreement. We give no warranty that the contents of this Site are free from infection by viruses or other malware. You will be solely responsible for any damage or loss of data resulting from your download of material and/or data or material and/or data otherwise obtained through the use of the Site.

We do not monitor and are not responsible for any material or data sent, using the Services, by any third party and we shall not be liable for offensive, defamatory, or otherwise unlawful information or other abuse of the Services by a third party.

Further, we shall not be liable to you for any loss or damage arising from your use of or inability to听 use the Site or the Services, including: a) any indirect, consequential or special loss or damage; b) loss of employment opportunity; c) loss of reputation; d) loss of revenue profit, business or anticipated savings; e) corrupted data or loss of information; in each case whether notified of the possibility of such loss or damage or not; and we hereby exclude any such liability, whether in contract, tort (including for negligence) or otherwise to the full extent permitted by law, provided that nothing in this Agreement excludes liability for death or injury due to our negligence, fraud or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.

You agree to indemnify us and keep us indemnified against all costs, expenses, claims, losses, damages, liabilities or proceedings arising from your use of this Site or the Services.

You must notify us immediately if anyone makes or threatens to make any claim against you relating to your use of this Site or the Services.

10. Termination

You may amend your registration and data, delete your CV or otherwise unsubscribe at any time within the account section of the Site.听

Similarly, we may at our absolute discretion terminate your registration and deny you access to the Site or any part of it at any time without notice in our absolute discretion and without giving any explanation or notification.

If you unsubscribe or we terminate your registration, we will delete your CV and other personal data, except where retention is required to meet legal obligations, in which case we will keep it in a separate and secure archive for a period no longer than is appropriate to the purpose.

11.听 Changes to Terms

These Terms may be changed by us at any time without notice. You will be deemed to accept the Terms (as amended) when you next use this site following any amendment.

12. General

This Agreement and the use of this Site are to be governed by and construed in accordance with English law. The courts of England are to have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute arising out of or about the use of this Site or any agreement made through this Site. If any provision of these terms and conditions is held to be invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, such invalidity shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions, which shall remain in full force and effect. Any failure or delay by either party in exercising any right under this Agreement shall not operate as a waiver of that right. This Agreement contains the whole agreement between the parties relating to its subject matter and supersedes all previous agreements between the parties relating to the subject matter. The parties acknowledge and agree that they are not relying on any warranties or representations not contained in this Agreement and all implied or common law warranties are excluded to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law. This Agreement may not be varied or amended except by us under clause 11 above.
